Finally... Warner Home Video has announced March 21 release dates for Justice League: Season 1 and Batman Beyond: Season 1 on DVD!

As a fan of the style and era of animation I am looking forward the episodes presented sequentially as it should be produced. It always had amazed me that Warner would produce these compilation DVDs first and not present the whole vision. The seasons have always had a year-long story arc of some sort. It will be good to have them added to my Batman and Superman collection.

Details may be found, where I read them, at Comics Continuum.

Toyzilla-1
This morning I watched last night's season finale of Justice League Unlimited entitled "Epilogue". The standard TV guide description is as follows: “Fifty years in the future, the history of the Justice League is the key to Batman's darkest secret...and his final destiny". This episode was almost certainly a farewell to Batman. At least the Batman of Timm/Dinni collaboration and I reveled in it.

I now remember my post some days ago recalling my comic convention experiencing watching the Man-Bat episode preview of a then new not yet aired cartoon show to be called Batman The Animated Series. That was my first look at the team of Bruce Timm and Paul Dinni which have created a dynasty of quality work and are synonymous with “The Animated Series” at Warner Brothers and Cartoon Network.

The series, from Batman to Justice League Unlimited, comes full circle. What a ride it has been.

I recommend you check out any of the WB! And Cartoon Network series (Batman, Batman Beyond, Superman, or Justice League) if you get chance! It has been some quality work to be sure!
